Our doors open from 9:30am, ready for our 10am service, so we welcome you to come in and meet us! We’re located at 713 Fergusson Drive, Upper Hutt.

We want you to be comfortable when visiting us for the first time, so we have some information and frequently asked questions below so you can begin getting to know us!

 

About Us

Riverstones is a church where anyone can grow spiritually, flourish in your faith, and serve God, beside your brothers and sisters in Christ.

Or if you want to ask us any questions about God or have any questions about life, we would love to have a chat with you.

Perhaps you want to find out how to become a Christian and make your life right with God? We can help you on your journey.

We have something for everyone: from children’s church and youth, to young adult socials. Groups for women and men and for the whole family. There’s plenty for everyone in the family to enjoy.

FAQs

Where can I park my car?

We have on site parking, and some on street parking in front of the building.

What can I expect from a service?

Morning services include:

  • contemporary praise and worship.

  • communion.

  • a message from the pastors or visiting speaker.

  • Riverstones Kids (during school term time).

  • missions offering taken once a month.

Do we have hot drinks?

Yes! We welcome you to join us for coffee, tea, nibbles and a chat after our church service. 


Is there a dress code?

No, casual clothing if you want.


Disability access?

Yes, we have everything necessary for everyone to attend. Including ramps to the door, plenty of space for accessibility, and we’re happy to help.


I want to come, but I can’t get there.

We have a coach, which is subject to availability, that a small team drives to pick up and drop people off, if you live in the Upper Hutt Central Area. So, call (+64 4 528 6617) or email (riverstones@riverstones.org.nz) the Riverstones Office before Friday to see if we can help.


Can I bring my child/baby?

Yes! All children are welcome, we have our Riverstones Kids program that runs during the school terms. We also have a parent corner at the back of the auditorium, a parent room with the service livestream and, changing stations in both toilets.


Where do I sit?

When you enter the main room, there are plenty of seats, so feel free to sit wherever you feel comfortable.
